We are pleased to announce that Asertis and members of our team have been ranked again in the 2023 annual Chambers Litigation support guide for litigation funding and litigation funding: insolvency.

Asertis has maintained its Band 4 status for Litigation Funding and has improved its ranking to Band 2 for Litigation Funding: Insolvency.

Chambers note that we “possess the ability to quickly grasp the crux of a case, assess the merits and decide whether to fund it.  This is a seamless and fast process.”  They also go on to say that “Asertis has a solid team with a variety of skill sets, considerable experience, and expertise, which allows them to provide a comprehensive and commercial approach.”

Chief Executive Officer, Ian Madej maintains his individual ranking of Band 4 and Chief Investment Officer, Harshiv Thakerar moves up to Band 3 for his individual ranking, both for Litigation Funding.  Chambers highlights that “Harshiv is a really impressive funder, extremely smart and able to assess the merits of a case quickly.  He is flexible and innovative.”

Additionally, Asertis are absolutely thrilled to announce that Roger Dugan, Business Development Director for Insolvency, has gone straight up to the top spot in Band 1 for his first individual ranking for Litigation Funding: Insolvency.  Chambers sources comment that “his skills honed as a solicitor of many years’ standing have provided him with invaluable in-depth experience and strength.”  One particular quote explains that “Roger is very commercially minded, seeing multiple angles and applies his experience to achieve good outcomes”.
